Cefuroxime works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for survival. Thereby damaging the bacterial cell wall and killing bacteria. Lactobacillus helps to restore good bacteria in the intestines. Thereby, it prevents diarrhoea and loss of beneficial bacteria due to the prolonged intake of antibiotics.
You are advised to take CEFUROXIME+LACTOBACILLUS for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. CEFUROXIME+LACTOBACILLUS may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, bloating, diarrhoea, allergic reaction, and increased liver enzymes. Most of these side effects of CEFUROXIME+LACTOBACILLUS do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
