VDM Tablet Kit comprises three medicines: Azithromycin (antibiotic), Fluconazole (antifungal), and Secnidazole (antibiotic). Azithromycin belongs to the class of 'macrolide antibiotics'. It works by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis, which inhibits bacterial growth. Fluconazole belongs to the class of 'azole antifungal' agents. It stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Secnidazole is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of 'amoebicides'. It works by stopping the growth of infection-causing bacteria.

Use VDM Tablet Kit as prescribed by the doctor. Common side effects of VDM Tablet Kit include taste changes, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting VDM Tablet Kit . It is advised to avoid alcohol intake while using VDM Tablet Kit to prevent any undesirable effects.

Let your doctor know if you have any liver, kidney, gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), allergic conditions, ulcers or blisters, and urination problems. VDM Tablet Kit is not recommended in case of severe renal impairment. It is advised to use VDM Tablet Kit under your doctor's supervision if you use other azole antifungal medicines. It is better to avoid VDM Tablet Kit during the first trimester of pregnancy. VDM Tablet Kit should be used with caution and only under a doctor's advice if you are a nursing mother. Do not drive or operate machinery if you experience dizziness or other side effects that may affect your mental ability to drive. Avoid alcohol consumption along with VDM Tablet Kit to avoid undesirable effects like flushing, increased heartbeat, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure. Do not take any antacids containing magnesium or aluminum for up to two hours after using VDM Tablet Kit .

Drug-Drug Interaction: VDM Tablet Kit may interact with magnesium or aluminium-containing antacids, heart-related medicines (digoxin), insomnia-treating drugs (triazolam), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, tacrolimus), fits medicines (carbamazepine, phenytoin), antibiotics (rifampicin, rifabutin), respiratory drugs (theophylline), anti-allergy drugs (astemizole), and blood thinners.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Before taking VDM Tablet Kit , let your doctor know if have any liver, kidney, gastrointestinal diseases (diarrhea and colitis, an inflammation of the colon), allergic conditions, ulcers or blisters, and urination problems.

• Use mild soap while taking baths and prefer warm baths.
• Avoid harsh products on your skin.
• Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly, and get plenty of sleep.
• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.

It is advised to reach out to your doctor if the infection symptoms persist or worsen after two weeks of treatment.
