Secnidazole is an antibiotic that belongs to the class of 'amoebicides'. It works by stopping the growth of infection-causing bacteria.

Use Canfree 3 Kit (1+1+2 Tablet) as prescribed by the doctor. Common side effects of Canfree 3 Kit (1+1+2 Tablet) include taste changes, vomiting, headache, dizziness, stomach pain, nausea, indigestion, diarrhoea, and loss of appetite. Do not take any antacids containing magnesium or aluminum for up to two hours after using Canfree 3 Kit (1+1+2 Tablet).

Drug-Drug Interaction: Canfree 3 Kit (1+1+2 Tablet) may interact with magnesium or aluminium-containing antacids, heart-related medicines (digoxin), insomnia-treating drugs (triazolam), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine, tacrolimus), fits medicines (carbamazepine, phenytoin), antibiotics (rifampicin, rifabutin), respiratory drugs (theophylline), anti-allergy drugs (astemizole), and blood thinners.

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid alcohol intake while using Canfree 3 Kit (1+1+2 Tablet).

• Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol and caffeine.

It is advised to reach out to your doctor if the infection symptoms persist or worsen after two weeks of treatment.
