Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's is a combination medication used in the treatment of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to damage to sensory nerves. Symptoms include spontaneous, untriggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful). Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's may be used in treating diabetic neuropathy, drug-induced neuropathy, alcoholic neuropathy, and trigeminal neuralgia.

Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's is a combination of four drugs: Alpha-lipoic acid (anti-oxidant), folic acid (vitamin), methylcobalamin and pyridoxine (vitamin B6). Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine help rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Folic acid helps in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain.

Take Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's as recommended. Sometimes, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, headache, vomiting and heartburn. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

• In case you miss a dose of Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's, skip it and resume when it is time for the second dose only. Do not ever take a double dose.
• It is very difficult to overdose on Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's however, if you accidentally take extra doses of Abhinerv-OD Capsule 10's, please inform your doctor or go to a hospital immediately. Some of the common symptoms of an overdose can be nausea, constipation, feeling sick, dizziness, mood changes, loss of appetite and headache.
