About Truzap Shampoo 100ml
Truzap Shampoo 100ml belongs to a class of drugs called 'antifungal' primarily used to treat fungal infections. It is used to treat seborrhoeic dermatitis of the scalp characterized by dandruff, red skin, itching etc. Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness, and scaling of the skin.
Truzap Shampoo 100ml contains 'Ciclopirox and Zinc pyrithione'. Ciclopirox works by inhibiting the growth of fungus and reducing the infection. It causes membrane instability by accumulating inside fungal cells and interfering with protein transport across the fungal cell membrane. Zinc pyrithione slows the production of skin cells and helps reduce flakiness. As a result it clears dandruff, red skin, itching etc.
