Do not take Rigut Sachet 1 gm if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have a weakened immune system, yeast allergy or if you are taking antifungal medicines. Rigut Sachet 1 gm belongs to the group of medicines called probiotics used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. Rigut Sachet 1 gm contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, Rigut Sachet 1 gm helps in treating diarrhoea. Rigut Sachet 1 gm may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
