Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop

If you are allergic to Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop should be used for children only in doses as advised by the doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before using Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop. Drive only if your vision is clear as Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. You are advised to remove soft contact lenses before using Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop. Do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids or surrounding areas as it may contaminate Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop and cause eye infections. 

Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin used to treat bacterial eye infections. Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop inhibits DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears the infection.

Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop contains Ofloxacin which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop as prescribed by your doctor. Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of Ocof 0.3% Eye Drop do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
