Let your doctor know if you have any blood disorders like pernicious anaemia before starting Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's. Pyridoxine is excreted into breast milk. Hence, breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's. Keep Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's away from direct sunlight. Do not store Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's above 25ºC.

Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L Methylfolate, Pyridoxine and Methylcobalamin. L Methylfolate helps the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency. Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It treats alcoholic and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anaemia.

Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss). 

Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's contains L Methylfolate, Pyridoxine and Methylcobalamin. L Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxine is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. 

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Gestafol Plus Capsule 10's may have common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
