Do not take Gemcal XT Tablet 15's if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform your doctor if you have hypercalcemia (high level of calcium in the blood), hypercalciuria (excess calcium in the urine), nephrocalcinosis (excess calcium deposition in the kidneys), nephrolithiasis (kidney stones), hypervitaminosis D (excess vitamin D), sarcoidosis, bowel disease, anaemia, malabsorption, low levels of potassium in blood, kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Gemcal XT Tablet 15's should be given to children only if recommended by the doctor. Let your doctor know if you are taking any other medicines or herbal products before starting Gemcal XT Tablet 15's.

Gemcal XT Tablet 15's is a combination of five supplements, namely: Calcium carbonate, L-methylfolate calcium, Mecobalamin, Pyridoxal phosphate, and cholecalciferol. Gemcal XT Tablet 15's is used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies such as calcium deficiency, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and post-menopausal osteoporosis. Calcium carbonate makes the bones stronger by increasing their density. It helps in treating and preventing low calcium levels. Cholecalciferol helps in the absorption of calcium from the stomach. Mecobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves, and production of red blood cells. Pyridoxal phosphate helps in regulating essential metabolic functions. L-methylfolate calcium helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Together, Gemcal XT Tablet 15's helps in treating nutritional deficiencies.

You are advised to take Gemcal XT Tablet 15's for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as stomach upset, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
