Applying an excessive amount may result in pilling. Use a thinner layer or a lesser quantity of medicine to avoid pilling. Avoid getting this medication in your eyes or nose, or mouth. Flutibact Ointment 5 gm is not recommended for infections like rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, pruritus without inflammation, and perianal and genital pruritus. Flutibact Ointment 5 gm is not recommended for infections like primary cutaneous viral, fungal, yeast and bacterial infections and infants under three months of age, including dermatitis and nappy rash. Do not mix this Flutibact Ointment 5 gm with any other external ointment medicines on the infected area of your skin, as this may reduce the effectiveness of this ointment. Flutibact Ointment 5 gm should not be used in open wounds/large wounds. Flutibact Ointment 5 gm should be used with caution in Kidney disease because it may be absorbed from open wounds and damaged skin and is excreted by the kidneys.
