Candifung-V Gel

Do not use Candifung-V Gel if you are hypersensitive or allergic to any of its components. Candifung-V Gel is for vaginal use only. Do not swallow. If you are pregnant, planning to have a baby, or are a nursing mother, you should not use Candifung-V Gel without a doctor's advice. You should not use tampons and other vaginal products while using Candifung-V Gel. It is also not recommended to use Candifung-V Gel during your menstrual period (menses); wait until your period is over. During treatment, vaginal medications frequently leak out of the vagina. You may wear a mini-pad or sanitary napkin to prevent the medicine from staining your clothes.

Candifung-V Gel comprises clotrimazole, an antifungal agent that is used to treat vaginal fungal infections such as vaginal thrush. Candifung-V Gel works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candifung-V Gel eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Candifung-V Gel belongs to the class of medications known as antifungals, primarily used to treat vaginal thrush (candidiasis). Vaginal thrush (candidiasis) is an infection of the vagina and/or vulva caused by candida.

Candifung-V Gel comprises clotrimazole that works by destroying the fungus that causes the infection. Candifung-V Gel eliminates the infection by causing holes in the fungal cell membrane and allows the components to leak out, thus killing the fungus.

Use Candifung-V Gel as recommended by the physician. In some cases, Candifung-V Gel may cause abdominal pain, vulvovaginal pain, nausea, and application site reactions including itching, burning sensation, and irritation. These side effects of Candifung-V Gel eventually subside without medical intervention. Consult your doctor immediately if any side effects worsen or persist.
