ZOCON LOTION

ZOCON LOTION belongs to the class of medicines called 'antifungals' used to treat fungal skin infections. Fungal infection occurs when a fungus invades and affects the tissue on the skin. Symptoms of a fungal infection include skin rash, irritation, redness and scaling of the skin. 

ZOCON LOTION contains 'Fluconazole' that kills or prevents fungi or yeast by inhibiting an enzyme in fungi responsible for its normal fat metabolism; this interferes with the formation of the fungal cell membrane. As a result, fungal or yeast cells get killed or their growth is minimized.

ZOCON LOTION is for external use only. Use ZOCON LOTION as prescribed by your doctor. ZOCON LOTION may cause common side effects like itching, dryness, redness, and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the components in ZOCON LOTION. Let your doctor know if you have any other skin disorders or illnesses before starting ZOCON LOTION. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before starting ZOCON LOTION.

ZOCON LOTION contains Fluconazole, which works by killing the fungus/yeast and preventing its growth by inhibiting the fungal cell membrane formation. It is used to treat fungal skin infections, such as athlete's foot, jock itch, and ringworm infections. It is also useful in treating vaginal yeast infections.

Let your doctor know if you are allergic to any of the components in ZOCON LOTION. Avoid contact of ZOCON LOTION with nose, mouth or eyes as it may cause irritation. In case ZOCON LOTION comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. If you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using ZOCON LOTION. Avoid applying ZOCON LOTION on sunburns, lesions, blisters and open wounds.
