About Zinox Tablet 10's

Zinox Tablet 10's belongs to the quinolone antibiotic class that is used in the treatment of bacterial infections. It is a highly effective antibiotic that works against a variety of bacteria. Zinox Tablet 10's is used in various bacterial infections, most importantly, respiratory tract infections such as pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, and bronchitis.

Zinox Tablet 10's contains garenoxacin, it works by stopping the action of a bacterial enzyme called DNA-gyrase. This prevents bacterial cells from dividing and repairing, thereby killing them.

The dose of Zinox Tablet 10's can vary depending upon your condition and the severity of the infection. It is also recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better and leave it in between may lead to even severe infection that will stop responding to the antibiotic (antibiotic resistance).In rare cases, side effects of Zinox Tablet 10's include vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, increased hunger, dizziness and fainting. Most of these side effects of Zinox Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Before starting Zinox Tablet 10's, please inform your doctor if you have any allergy (against any antibiotic) if you have kidney or liver problems, seizure disorder. Swallow Zinox Tablet 10's as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.

  • Eat fibre rich food like whole grains, beans, lentils, berries, broccoli, peas and bananas.
  • Avoid foods rich in calcium, grapefruit and grapefruit juice as they might hinder the absorption of antibiotics.
  • Avoid usage of tobacco.
  • Avoid the intake of dairy products.
  • To cure your condition effectually complete the full course of Zinox Tablet 10's even though you find symptomatic relief.
  • Do not drink or eat a lot of caffeine-containing products such as coffee, tea, energy drinks, cola, or chocolate.  
  • Probiotics should be taken after taking the full course of Zinox Tablet 10's to restore some healthy bacteria in the intestines that may have been killed. Taking probiotics after antibiotic treatment can reduce the risk of antibiotic-associated diarrhoea. Certain fermented foods like yoghurt, cheese, sauerkraut, kombucha, and kimchi can help restore the intestine's good bacteria.
  • Include more fibre-enriched food in your diet, as it can be easily digested by your gut bacteria, which helps stimulate their growth. Thus, fibre-rich foods may help restore healthy gut bacteria after a course of antibiotics.
  • Whole grains like whole-grain bread, brown rice should be included in your diet.
  • Make sure you drink plenty of water or other fluids every day while you are taking Zinox Tablet 10's.
  • Avoid alcoholic beverages with Zinox Tablet 10's as it can make you dehydrated and may affect your sleep. This can make it harder for your body to aid the Zinox Tablet 10's in fighting off infections.
