XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM is a dermatological medication primarily used to treat skin infections, such as eczema (inflamed, itchy, cracked, and rough skin patches), dermatitis, nasal polyps (painless growth on the lining of the nose or sinuses), impetigo (red sores on the face), psoriasis (skin cells multiply rapidly to form bumpy (uneven) red patches covered with white scales), ringworm, athlete's foot, jock itch, and dermatoses (lesions or eruptions of the skin). Skin infection occurs when a foreign microbe like fungus or bacteria invades and affects the tissue on the skin. 

XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM is composed of Clotrimazole (antifungal), Fusidic acid (antibacterial), and Mometasone (corticosteroid). Clotrimazole is an antifungal medication. It stops the growth of fungi by causing damage and leakage to the fungal cell membrane. Fusidic acid is an antibacterial medication that prevents the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Mometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids. Corticosteroids have anti-inflammatory, immunosuppressive, and antiproliferative (inhibit cell growth) properties. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers) that make the affected area red, swollen, and itchy. Mometasone effectively treats inflammation and itchiness caused by eczema and psoriasis. 

Your doctor will advise the appropriate dose that suits your infection. XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM is for topical (for skin) use only. XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM has common side effects like itching, irritation, and burning sensation at the application site. These side effects usually do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.

Let your doctor know if you have any allergic reactions medicines, diabetes, Cushing's disease (high cortisol levels), cataracts, and glaucoma before starting XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM. If XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM gets into the eyes, nose, or mouth, wash the areas with clean water thoroughly. Do not cover the affected areas with air-tight dressings after applying XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM if the doctor did not advise you. It is not recommended to use XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM for diaper rash. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult the doctor before starting XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM.

Do not cover the affected areas with bandages or dressing after applying XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM if the doctor did not advise you to do so. Please inform your doctor before starting XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM if you have/had liver failure, diabetes, Cushing's disease (high cortisol levels), cataracts, and glaucoma. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use XINOMOM CF CREAM 5GM with proper consultation and caution.
