About Xinasone Cream 15 gm

Xinasone Cream 15 gm belongs to a class of drugs called 'steroids' primarily used to treat various skin conditions like swelling, itching, and redness like psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches), dermatitis (itchy, swelling of the skin), and eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin). The skin's swelling occurs when an allergic reaction or skin irritation releases several substances in the skin that widens blood vessels and cause itching, redness, pain, and swelling in the irritated area.

Xinasone Cream 15 gm contains 'Desoximetasone' a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use Xinasone Cream 15 gm as prescribed by your doctor. Xinasone Cream 15 gm is only for external use. You are advised to use Xinasone Cream 15 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dryness, itching, irritation, or a burning sensation. Most of these side effects of Xinasone Cream 15 gm do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Xinasone Cream 15 gm or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Xinasone Cream 15 gm. Do not use Xinasone Cream 15 gm in more than prescribed doses, or on a large area of skin for a prolonged period as it may cause adverse effects.
