About Vitcofol Injection 10 ml

Vitcofol Injection 10 ml belongs to the class of 'Vitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent niacin deficiency (pellagra), folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

Vitcofol Injection 10 ml contains Folic acid, Cyanocobalamin/Vitamin B12, and Nicotinamide (vitamin B3). Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Cyanocobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) helps in replenishing the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.
