Vilfree-M Tablet 10's is primarily used to treat psychogenic depression, depressive neurosis, psychosomatic affections accompanied by anxiety and apathy, asthenia, menopausal depression, depression in alcoholics and drug addicts. Depression is a mood disorder that affects a person's daily life and is described as feelings of sadness, loss, or anger. These symptoms may interfere with daily activities and affect the quality of life.
Vilfree-M Tablet 10's contains Flupentixol and Melitracen. Flupentixol is an antipsychotic medication that works by inhibiting dopamine, a chemical messenger in the brain that influences thoughts and mood. Melitracen is a tricyclic antidepressant that raises the levels of chemical messengers in the brain that aid in mood regulation and the treatment of depression. Thus, Vilfree-M Tablet 10's effectively treats various forms of depression and anxiety.

Common side effects of Vilfree-M Tablet 10's include insomnia, restlessness, agitation, dizziness, tremor, dry mouth, constipation, accommodation disorder and fatigue. Do not consume alcohol while using Vilfree-M Tablet 10's as there may be an interaction. Vilfree-M Tablet 10's is not recommended for excitable or overactive patients since its activating effect may exaggerate these characteristics. The safety and efficacy of Vilfree-M Tablet 10's in children have not been established.
