Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml contains two antibiotics, Tobramycin and Moxifloxacin. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections. Tobramycin inhibits the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thus, destroys bacteria. Moxifloxacin inhibits DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) involved in repairing and replicating bacteria's DNA (genetic material). Thus, kills bacteria and clears the infection.
You should wash your hands first, tilt your head back, and gently pull the lower eyelid downwards. Then, squeeze the bottle gently by holding it upside down to instil the number of drops into the affected eye as advised by your doctor without touching the tip of the bottle to the eye or surrounding areas in order to avoid contamination. Finally, replace the cap tightly after use. After applying Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml, you are advised to close your eyes for a minimum of 2 to 3 minutes, and pressure should be applied to the corner of the eye by pressing a finger to stop eye drops from spreading into the rest of the body.
You are not recommended to wear contact lenses while using Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml. You are advised to remove contact lenses before applying Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml and reinsert after 15 minutes of using Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml.
Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after applying. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.
Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml is not used to treat fungal infection in the eye. Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml is only used to treat bacterial eye infections.
You are not recommended to stop using Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml without consulting your doctor as it may worsen the infection. Therefore, use Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it, and if you experience any difficulty while taking Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml is for external use only. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Unimox-T Eye Drop 5 ml.
