Travozest T Eye Drop is a combination drug containing 'ophthalmic medication' used to treat raised pressure in the eye. Travozest T Eye Drop is used alone or in combination with other drugs. A glaucoma is a group of eye conditions in which the optic nerve is damaged. This damage is often caused by abnormally high pressure in your eye. Glaucoma is one of the leading causes of blindness for people over the age of 60.
Travozest T Eye Drop contains Travoprost (prostaglandin analogue) and Timolol (beta-blocker), timolol is primarily used in treating ocular hypertension (high pressure of the eye). Travoprost works by increasing the drainage of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye) from the eye and reducing increased eye pressure. Timolol works by decreasing the production of fluid in the eye. As increased pressure can lead to a disease called glaucoma. If the pressure is too high, it can also lead to loss of sight. Travozest T Eye Drop should be put only in the affected eye and contact with the normal eye should be avoided.
