Thus, it reduces the inflammation caused by uric acid in affected joints, thereby reducing pain, swelling and inflammation.

This medicine may cause some common side effects such as liver enzyme elevations, upset stomach, diarrhoea, nausea, drowsiness, headache, and vomiting.
