Thioblis-F4 Tablet

Thioblis-F4 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called pain killers/analgesic used in the treatment of muscle spasms, menstrual cramps, headache due to stress and tensions, pain due to cancer chemotherapy, pain due to injuries and postoperative (after operation) pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Muscle spasm is the sudden involuntary contractions of the muscle, which can be painful and uncomfortable.

Thioblis-F4 Tablet contains two medicines: Flupirtine (painkiller) and Thiocolchicoside (muscle relaxant). Flupirtine is a painkiller/ non-opioid analgesic. It reduces the awareness of pain by blocking the transmission of pain signs to the brain. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant that works on the centers of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements, thereby helping relieve pain due to muscle spasms. This Thioblis-F4 Tablet is thus better efficient in relieving pain and relax muscles.

Take Thioblis-F4 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Thioblis-F4 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience nausea, drowsiness, dizziness, sleep disturbance, dryness in the mouth, stomach fullness, itching and tremor (shaking of the hands and feet). Most of these side effects of Thioblis-F4 Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Thioblis-F4 Tablet should not be taken if you are known to be allergic to Thioblis-F4 Tablet or any other medicines. Thioblis-F4 Tablet should not be taken in the conditions like kidney disease and muscle weakness. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before starting Thioblis-F4 Tablet . Thioblis-F4 Tablet should not be used in children below 18 years of age as safety and efficacy have not established. Thioblis-F4 Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness it is advisable to you do not drive unless you are alert.

Do not take Thioblis-F4 Tablet if you are allergic to Thioblis-F4 Tablet or other pain killers. Thioblis-F4 Tablet should not be taken in the conditions like kidney disease, liver disease or heart disease. Inform your doctor before taking Thioblis-F4 Tablet if you have or had bleeding, asthma, edema (swelling in hands and feet), skin rashes and blood disorder. Before taking Thioblis-F4 Tablet inform your doctor if you have muscle weakness. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please inform your doctor before starting Thioblis-F4 Tablet . • Discontinue use with upon symptoms of liver damage such as loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, fatigue, dark urine, jaundice or pruritus and consult your doctor immediately.
• High dose could turn urine color to green, consult your doctor immediately.
