Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml belongs to a class of drugs called antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections such as pneumonia (infection of lung tissue), bronchitis, throat infections including pharyngitis and tonsillitis, otitis media (middle ear infections), sinusitis (infection of the sinuses), skin and soft tissue infections, bladder and kidney infections. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml does not work against infections, flu or cold symptoms caused by the virus.
Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml contains Cefaclor, an antibiotic that works by interfering with the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) necessary for their survival. Thereby damaging the bacterial cell wall and killing the bacterial cell. Thus, it prevents the growth of bacterial infection.
Use Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to use Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for your child based on their medical condition. Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml may cause side effects such as vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea, weakness or itching. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or bother your child, please consult your doctor.
If your child is allergic to Cefaclor, penicillins or any other medicines, please tell the doctor. Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml should be used in children above 1 month in doses as prescribed by a doctor only. If your child has severe kidney problems, inform your doctor before using Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml. You are recommended to complete the full course of Theia Clor 125 Dry Syrup 30 ml as prescribed by the doctor, even if your child feels better after a few days.
