Teczine AM Capsule consists of two medicines: Levocetirizine (anti-histamine) and Ambroxol (mucolytic agent). Levocetirizine is an antihistamine (anti-allergic) drug that reduces the effects of histamine, a chemical substance that causes allergies like runny nose and skin rash. It is used to treat relieve symptoms, such as watery eyes, runny nose, itchy eyes/nose, sneezing, and itching and swelling caused by chronic urticaria (hives). Ambroxol is an 'expectorant' that promotes the secretion of sputum/cough. It is also a 'mucolytic agent' that makes sputum less viscous and makes breathing easier.
