Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another). Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment contains four medicines namely Clobetasol, ofloxacin, ornidazole, and terbinafine. Clobetasol belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by stopping them from replicating and restoring themselves. Ornidazole is also an antibiotic that kills other infectious bacteria in addition to bacteria by harming the DNA. Terbinafine is an antifungal that prevents the growth of fungi by stopping them from developing their protective covering.
You are advised to use Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical conditions. You may experience burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application, skin peeling, and thinning of the skin. Most of these side effects of Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you have adrenal gland or liver problems and any skin infection, inform your doctor before taking Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment. Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment should not be recommended for use in children below 12 years. Do not use Tebif Co2 5Gm Ointment in more than prescribed doses, or for a prolonged time as it may cause adverse effects.
