About Sultaren Injection 2 ml
Sultaren Injection 2 ml belongs to a group of medicines called 'antipsychotics' used to treat postoperative nausea and vomiting. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which the person feels an urge to vomit, whereas vomiting is an uncontrollable reflex that expels the stomach's contents through the mouth.
Sultaren Injection 2 ml contains Amisulpride, which helps restore the balance of certain natural substances in the brain. Sultaren Injection 2 ml stops nausea by blocking the D2 receptors located in the chemoreceptor trigger zone - CTZ of the brain responsible for inducing vomiting.
