FAQs

Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's contains telmisartan and metoprolol. Telmisartan works by blocking the angiotensin II receptor. Metoprolol helps to reduce blood pressure by allowing the blood to flow more smoothly. Together, Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's helps in reducing the blood pressure to normal.
Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's may cause a slow heart rate (bradycardia). A minor fluctuation should not be a worry, however, if slow heart rate continues and you begin to feel unwell, speak with your doctor.
Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's may alter potassium levels. Therefore, inform your doctor if you are taking food rich in potassium such as potassium-containing salt substitutes or over-the-counter potassium supplements.
Please do not stop taking Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's without consulting your doctor on your own as it may lead to rise in blood pressure. Continue taking Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it to you. Do not be reluctant to speak with your doctor if you experience any difficulty while taking Starcad T 25 Tablet 10's.
