About Staphonex 500 mg Capsule

Staphonex 500 mg Capsule belongs to a class of medicines called 'antibiotics' used to treat various bacterial infections such as skin infections, soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, ear infections, bone infections, bone marrow infections, intestinal tract infections, urinary tract infections, meningitis, and septicaemia. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grows in the body and causes infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly.

Staphonex 500 mg Capsule contains 'Flucloxacillin sodium' that works by preventing the cell wall formation of the bacteria which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Staphonex 500 mg Capsule kills the bacteria and effectively treats various bacterial infections.

Take Staphonex 500 mg Capsule as prescribed. Your doctor will advise the duration based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience minor gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhoea, nausea & vomiting. Most of these side effects of Staphonex 500 mg Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

Tablet/capsule: Take it on an empty stomach, preferably 30-60 minutes before or 2 hours after a meal or snack. Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush or chew it.
