SMARTI 10MG TABLET

SMARTI 10MG TABLET used in the treatment of allergies. It helps provide relief from various allergic reactions in children. An allergic reaction is a response that occurs when foreign particles enter the body. This allergic reaction may vary from person to person. SMARTI 10MG TABLET is used to treat allergic reactions and urticaria (swelling, redness, and itchiness of the skin).

SMARTI 10MG TABLET contains Rupatadine which is an anti-allergic medicine. It works by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger called ‘histamine. This chemical messenger is naturally involved in allergic reactions. Rupatadine helps to relieve discomfort and unpleasant symptoms, like blocked/runny/itchy nose, red/watery eyes, and skin rashes that occur due to allergic conditions.

SMARTI 10MG TABLET may cause certain side effects in your child, such as abdominal pain, headache, cold-like nose symptoms (in children), or diarrhoea (in children). These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician. SMARTI 10MG TABLET should be taken as advised by your doctor. Do not give the child more than the prescribed dose of SMARTI 10MG TABLET. SMARTI 10MG TABLET can be given with or without food. Your paediatrician will decide the dose of the medicine depending on the type and severity of the infection.

SMARTI 10MG TABLET is intended for pediatric use only. Avoid giving SMARTI 10MG TABLET to your child if she/he is allergic to antibiotics. Keep your doctor informed about your child’s health condition, medications, and medical history to rule out any side effects/interactions. Before administration, inform your doctor if your child has liver and kidney problems. SMARTI 10MG TABLET is not recommended for use in children below six years of age as its safety and efficacy are not established.

• The child’s immune system is affected by stress and raises the risk of being sick. Hence try progressive muscle relaxation techniques to relieve stress.
• Sleeping for 7-9 hours each night can make your child stay fit and safe.
• It is advised to avoid contact with known allergens (allergy-causing agents) such as pollen, dust, etc. Certain food items are known to cause allergies to you.
• Make your child to drink more fluids to avoid dehydration.
