SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM is a dermatological combination medication used for the topical treatment of fungal infection of the skin with eczema. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).

SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM is a combination of two drugs, namely: Sertaconazole (antifungal) and Beclometasone (corticosteroid). The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents. Sertaconazole works by damaging and causing holes in the fungal cell membranes leading to its bursts, ultimately killing fungi. On the other hand, Beclometasone works by acting inside skin cells, thereby inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM as prescribed. SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM is only for external use. Avoid contact of SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM with nose, ears, mouth, or eyes. In case SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Some people may experience skin tenderness, mild rash, dry skin, skin bruising, itching, irritation, redness, burning, or stinging sensation at the application site. Most of these side effects of SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid contact of SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM with nose, mouth, or eyes as it may cause irritation. In case SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM. Do not apply SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM to broken skin or open cuts/wounds. Avoid covering the treated area with dressings or bandages unless advised by a doctor. Do not swallow SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM. In case of accidental swallowing, please consult a doctor immediately. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM catches fire and burns easily. If you have acne, rosacea (redness and often red, small, pus-filled bumps on the face), eye, or any other skin infection, inform your doctor before taking SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM.

• Please consult a dermatologist if your skin infection persists for more than 1 month.
• SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM will not help in skin conditions like acne or rosacea. 
• SERTACIDE B CREAM 10GM can cause dry onto your clothes and bedding, making them more likely to catch fire. So try to avoid naked flames. 

• Regularly change your socks and wash your feet. Avoid shoes that make your feet sweaty and hot.
• In wet places such as changing rooms and gym showers, don’t walk barefoot to prevent fungal infections.
• Do not scratch the affected area of the skin as it can spread the infection to other body parts.
• Avoid sharing towels, combs, bedsheets, shoes, or socks with others.
• Wash your bedsheets and towels regularly.
