Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's
About Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's
Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's belongs to the class of drugs known as 'non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug' (NSAID) used to provide pain relief in various conditions, including post-traumatic pain, low back pain, cervical pain, spondylitis (inflammation in spinal bones), osteoarthritis (lifelong joint pain and stiffness), rheumatoid arthritis(joint pain and damage throughout the body). Pain can be temporary (acute) or prolonged period (chronic) in nature. Acute pain is for a short time caused by damage to the tissues of the muscle, bone, or organs. Chronic pain lasts for life long, caused due to nerve damage, osteoarthritis, and dental pain due to damage to the tooth nerve, infection, decay, extraction, or injury.
Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's contains 'serratiopeptidase', a protein enzyme isolated from a bacterial cell found in the silkworms. It breaks the insoluble protein (fibrin), a by-product of blood clots, into smaller units. It also causes thinning of the body's fluids due to injury, making fluid drainage smoother in the swollen tissue and relieving inflammation at the affected or injured site.
Swallow Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it. In some cases, Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's may cause stomach ache, diarrhoea, nausea (feeling sick), and indigestion. Most of these side effects of Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.
Do not take Serax 5 mg Tablet 10's if you are allergic to painkillers like aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen, or diclofenac. It is not recommended for use in children.
