Rutin CD Capsule belongs to the group of medicines known as 'vasoprotective', primarily indicated in the treatment of hemorrhoids (piles), varicose veins (enlarged, swollen, and twisted veins), and diabetic retinopathy (damage to light-sensitive the black part of the eye). Hemorrhoids also known as piles, is a medical condition that happens when veins present in the anus and rectum area(the last part of the large intestine that ends up in the anus) get swell and become painful. The varicose vein is a condition in which veins (a type of blood vessel) become large, and swollen especially in the feet and legs. Diabetic retinopathy is a health condition that happens when the retina's blood vessels (the black part of the eye) get damaged in persons with diabetes.

Rutin CD Capsule contains 'Calcium Dobesilate' that improves blood flow in veins (a type of blood vessel) by decreasing the thickness of blood and also relaxes the muscles of affected part of the body(legs, feet, anus, eyes) by reducing the leakage and fragility of blood vessels. In this way, it provides relief in piles, varicose veins, and diabetic retinopathy.

Take Rutin CD Capsule as prescribed by your doctor. You are suggested to take Rutin CD Capsule as long as your doctor has prescribed it after checking your medical condition.  In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as fever, gastrointestinal disorders, skin reactions, arthralgia(joint pain), and agranulocytosis (lower white blood cell count). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Avoid or limit the intake of alcohol while taking Rutin CD Capsule. To treat your condition effectually, continue taking Rutin CD Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed. Do not exceed the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Consult your doctor before taking Rutin CD Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding; your doctor will prescribe you Rutin CD Capsule only if the benefits outweigh the risks. Rutin CD Capsule causes drowsiness, so drive with caution. Rutin CD Capsule should not be given to children as safety and efficacy have not been established. Inform your doctor about your health condition and medications before taking Rutin CD Capsule to rule out any side effects. Dosage should be reduced in persons dealing with kidney disease.

Certain diagnostic test including digital rectal exam can diagnose hemorrhoids.
