About REGLAN TABLET 10MG

REGLAN TABLET 10MG is an antiemetic medicine. It is used to treat nausea and vomiting (being sick) in infants and children. Besides this, it also helps in the treatment of indigestion. In children, vomiting is a symptom of milk intolerance or food allergy.

REGLAN TABLET 10MG contains metoclopramide which belongs to prokinetic agents. It works by blocking the messages between the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CTZ) and the vomiting centre in the brain. This helps prevent and treat nausea and vomiting.

REGLAN TABLET 10MG may cause dry mouth as a side effect. This can resolve over time. If this side effect worsens or bothers your child please consult your paediatrician. REGLAN TABLET 10MG should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose to the child. REGLAN TABLET 10MG can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician depending on the severity of the condition.

REGLAN TABLET 10MG is intended for paediatric use only. Avoid giving REGLAN TABLET 10MG to your child if she/he is allergic to any of the components present in the formulation.
