Prixain Gel 30 gm contains Pregabalin, Diclofenac, Methyl Salicylate, Menthol, and Capsaicin. Pregabalin works by modulating the calcium channel activity of the nerve cells. Diclofenac and Methyl salicylate work by blocking the effect of chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Capsaicin exerts an analgesic effect by desensitising the nerve endings. Menthol provides a cooling sensation by dilating the blood vessels. Together, Prixain Gel 30 gm helps in providing relief from pain.
 
You are advised to use Prixain Gel 30 gm for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Prixain Gel 30 gm may cause side effects such as irritation and a burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

• If Prixain Gel 30 gm comes in contact with eyes, nose or mouth, rinse with water immediately.
• Wash your hands before and after using Prixain Gel 30 gm; however, do not wash your hands if you are applying Prixain Gel 30 gm on your hands.
• Do not apply Prixain Gel 30 gm on wounds, cuts, damaged skin, or scrapes.
• Avoid using Prixain Gel 30 gm with a heating pad.
