Before taking Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml inform your doctor if you are taking other medicines. Inform your doctor if you have come in contact with sunlight. Avoid contact of topical Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml with nose, mouth or eyes as it may irritate. Immediately stop using Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml and inform your doctor if you may observe irritation or any other skin infection. In case Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult the doctor before starting Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml. Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml is not recommended for children below 12 years.

Phytoral SP Lotion 60 ml is composed of two medicines: Ketoconazole (antifungal) and salicylic acid (keratoplastic). Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by avoiding them from forming their own protective covering. Salicylic acid belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplastic (thickens the keratin layers). It works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down skin cell's growth. This effect decreases scaling and dryness, thus relieving itching and cracking related to dandruff.
