NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET belongs to a group of combination medications called 'penicillin antibiotics' that works against various types of bacteria. NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET is generally prescribed for the prevention of various bacterial infections of the lungs, skin, kidneys, and bones. Bacterial infection occurs when bacteria enter the body and multiply and cause a reaction in the body.
NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET contains two medicines, namely Amoxicillin and Cloxacillin. Amoxicillin acts by destroying the outer protein layer thereby killing the bacteria (bactericidal). Cloxacillin blocks the third and last stage of synthesis of the outer layer (cell wall) of bacteria. Together NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET kills the bacteria and prevents the growth of bacterial infection.
NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET is an oral medicine available as dispersible tablet and capsule. The dose of NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET may depend upon the age (adults, children) and severity of condition. It can be taken after food to avoid stomach upset. Take it with a glass of water. NUMOX KID 125MG DISP TABLET may cause certain side effects such as rash, vomiting, allergic reaction, stomach pain, nausea, and diarrhea. Most of these side effects are mild and subside over time. However, if these persist contact your doctor immediately.
