Let your doctor know if you have an overactive thyroid gland (hyperthyroidism) or any other thyroid diseases, including swelling (nodular colloid goitre, endemic goitre or Hashimoto’s thyroiditis), liver, and kidney problems, before starting Nanz Med Science Povidone Iodine 10%. Please tell your doctor if you are undergoing any lithium therapy or radioactive iodine treatment. Nanz Med Science Povidone Iodine 10% should not be used before or after radioiodine scintigraphy or radioiodine treatment of thyroid carcinoma.
