About Moza 5 Tablet 10's
Moza 5 Tablet 10's contains a class of medicines known as 'gastrointestinal agents,' primarily used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (reflux of gastric contents into the oesophagus). Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a condition that occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the food pipe (oesophagus). This backflow (acid reflux) irritates the food pipe and causes heartburn.
Moza 5 Tablet 10's contains Mosapride, primarily used to treat GERD (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease). It works by increasing the release of certain chemicals (acetylcholine), which helps improve food movement inside the intestine. Thus, gastric emptying of both liquid and solid from the intestine is increased.
Take Moza 5 Tablet 10's as prescribed. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Moza 5 Tablet 10's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nausea, diarrhoea, dry mouth, abdominal pain, headache, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), unusual tiredness and weakness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
Inform your doctor before taking Moza 5 Tablet 10's if you have a stomach or intestine tumour, liver or kidney disease, or intestinal bleeding. Do not take Moza 5 Tablet 10's if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Moza 5 Tablet 10's may cause dizziness and sleepiness, so drive only if you are alert. Moza 5 Tablet 10's should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol and grapefruit juice along with Moza 5 Tablet 10's as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can elevate stomach acid production. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects.
