Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml belongs to two classes of medications: antibiotics and steroids. It is primarily used to treat bacterial ear infections. An ear infection occurs when bacteria invade the middle or outer ear, causing pain and inflammation. On the other hand, Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml can also use to treat ear infections as a complication after ear surgery (e.g., mastoidectomy, fenestration).

Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml is a combination medicine that contains Neomycin, Polymyxin B and Hydrocortisone. Neomycin and polymyxin B belong to the class of medicines known as antibiotics; they work by killing bacteria or preventing their growth. Hydrocortisone is a steroid medicine used to relieve the redness, itching, and swelling caused by ear infections. Together Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml reduces redness, irritation, and discomfort of certain ear problems.

Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml is only for otic (ear) use. Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to use Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml for as long as your doctor prescribes it. In some cases, you may experience common side effects, such as a burning sensation, irritation, itching and redness at the application site. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml. Before using Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml, notify your doctor if you have hearing problems (ototoxicity), a perforated eardrum or chronic otitis media. Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml should be used in children only when advised by a doctor. Before taking Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml, inform your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any potential negative effects and interactions.

Do not use Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml if you are allergic to any of its components. Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml is only to be used in the ears. Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml should never be injected or used orally. Avoid contact with the Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml with your nose, mouth, or eyes. If Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml comes into contact with these areas accidentally, thoroughly rinse it with water. Do not use Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml without consulting the doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding. Before taking Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml, inform your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any potential negative effects and interactions. Monpic-H 10/3400/10000 Ear Drops 5 ml should not be used longer than your doctor prescribes. Contact your doctor if the infection symptoms persist or worsen after two weeks of treatment.

• Avoid consuming foods you are allergic to, as it can cause the body to produce excess mucus, resulting in ear inflammation.
• Avoid getting shampoo, soap, or water into your ears, as this can cause itching.
• Poking or scratching the ear can cause damage to the ear canal, resulting in inflammation. 
• Using cotton swabs, bobby pins, or other objects to remove earwax may push wax deeper into the ear, causing ear damage.
• Never put cold water in your ear, and avoid spraying liquids into your ear with force.
