About Meganeuron PG Capsule 10's
Meganeuron PG Capsule 10's is a combination of medications indicated for the management of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system. Neuropathic pain can be caused due to amputation of limbs, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to excess blood sugar level), excessive alcohol intake (alcoholism) and cancer treatment via chemotherapy.
Meganeuron PG Capsule 10's is a combination of five drugs: Pregabalin (anticonvulsant), Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12), Benfotiamine (vitamin B1), Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and Folic acid (vitamin B9). Pregabalin affects the chemicals in the brain that send pain signals to the nervous system, thereby relieving nerve pain and lowering the risk of seizures (fits). Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine help in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Benfotiamine and Folic acid help in delivering essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Meganeuron PG Capsule 10's provides relief from neuropathic pain.

Disease/Condition Glossary
Neuropathic pain: It is a nervous disorder that occurs due to nerve damage caused by chronic progressive nerve disease, limb amputation, diabetes or due to infection or injury. The pain could be intermittent or continuous, felt as a prickling, stabbing, tingling or burning sensation. A feeling of numbness and loss of senses is also common with neuropathic pain. Usually, the body sends the pain signals when there is an injury, but with neuropathic pain, the pain is not triggered by an injury. Symptoms include spontaneous, un-triggered pain, unpleasant feeling, shooting, burning or stabbing pain, difficulty resting or sleeping and evoked pain (pain caused by events that are usually not painful).
