Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml
About Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml
Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml belongs to a group of medicines called 'antipsychotics/neuroleptics,' primarily used to treat psychotic disorders like schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental condition in which the person may feel, hear or see things that are not there (hallucinations), believe things that are not true, and feel unusually suspicious or confused.
Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml contains 'Fluphenazine' that belongs to the class of phenothiazines. It works by affecting the balance of the neurotransmitters in the brain. Thereby, Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml decreases psychotic symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, and hostility (unfriendly or opposed behaviour) associated with schizophrenia. Medipax 25mg Injection 1 ml is intended for use in the management of patients requiring prolonged parenteral antipsychotic therapy.
