About Meconta-LC Tablet 10's

Meconta-LC Tablet 10's is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent folate deficiency and vitamin B12 deficiency. Meconta-LC Tablet 10's effectively treats various conditions caused due to lack of vitamins, such as anaemia (lack of red blood cells), peripheral neuropathy (nerve disorder), seizures (fits), hyperoxaluria (excess oxalate levels in urine), homocystinuria (accumulation of an amino acid called homocysteine in urine and blood), cyanide poisoning and hyperhomocysteinemia (high levels of homocysteine in the blood).

Meconta-LC Tablet 10's contains Folic acid, L-carnitine, and Methylcobalamin. Folic acid helps form red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats low blood levels of folate (folate deficiency) and high blood levels of amino acid, homocysteine (hyperhomocysteinemia). L-Carnitine is a type of amino acid that is naturally produced by the body. It is used by the body to produce energy and is important for the health of the heart, brain, muscles, and other body parts.  Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Meconta-LC Tablet 10's may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, drowsiness, flushing, and numbness/tingling.
