Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's belongs to the group of medicines called anti-mycobacterial drugs primarily used to treat tuberculosis (TB). Tuberculosis is an infectious respiratory disease that affects the lungs but can also spread to other body parts such as the kidneys, brain, spine, and bone marrow.
Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's is a combination medicine containing rifampicin, isoniazid, and pyrazinamide, which belong to an anti-tubercular class of drugs. It works by destroying the bacteria that is responsible for causing lung infection known as Tuberculosis (TB). The bacteria that causes the infection is Mycobacterium tuberculosis.
Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's may cause certain side effects in your child, such as indigestion, headache, nausea, and vomiting. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician. Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose to the child. It can be given with or without food. Generally, the dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician, depending upon the severity of the infection. Finish the full course of treatment, and do not skip any doses even if your child starts feeling good.
Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's is intended for pediatric use only. Avoid giving Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's to your child if she/he is allergic to any of the components present in this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your child’s health condition, including his current medications and medical history, to rule out any side effects/interactions. Before giving Macox ZH Kid Tablet 10's, tell your paediatrician if your child has eye problems, liver disease, or kidney disease.
