About Macox-ZH Tablet

Macox-ZH Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called anti-mycobacterial drugs primarily used to treat tuberculosis (TB). Tuberculosis is an infectious respiratory disease that affects the lungs but can also spread to other body parts such as the kidneys, brain, spine, and bone marrow.

Macox-ZH Tablet is a combination medicine containing rifampicin, isoniazid, and pyrazinamide, which belong to an anti-tubercular class of drugs. It works by destroying the bacteria that is responsible for causing lung infection known as Tuberculosis (TB). The bacteria that causes the infection is Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your paediatrician. Macox-ZH Tablet should be given as advised by your doctor. Do not give more than the prescribed dose to the child. It can be given with or without food. Generally, the dose of the medicine will be decided by your paediatrician, depending upon the severity of the infection. Finish the full course of treatment, and do not skip any doses even if your child starts feeling good.

Macox-ZH Tablet is intended for pediatric use only. Avoid giving Macox-ZH Tablet to your child if she/he is allergic to any of the components present in this medicine. Keep your doctor informed about your child’s health condition, including his current medications and medical history, to rule out any side effects/interactions.
