Medicinal Benefits

MHR Tablet 15's is used to treat nutritional deficiencies and contains Folic acid, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, and Methylcobalamin. Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate, a water-soluble Vitamin B that prevents and treats folate deficiency and hyperhomocysteinemia. When used with other medications, Folic acid is used to treat pernicious, aplastic, or normocytic anemia (lack of red blood cells). When taken by pregnant women, Folic acid prevents miscarriage and neural tube defects in infants. Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (vitamin B6) is a water-soluble vitamin that treats and prevents vitamin B6 deficiency, anemia, peripheral neuropathy, seizures (fits), and hereditary disorders like hyperoxaluria and homocystinuria. It is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the creation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through neurotransmitter biosynthesis and maintains normal homocysteine levels (an amino acid in the blood). Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) is a coenzyme form of vitamin B12 and treats Vitamin B12 deficiency, cyanide poisoning, and hyperhomocysteinemia. It regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
