About Lodoz 2.5 Tablet 10's
Lodoz 2.5 Tablet 10's is a combination of blood pressure-lowering medicine primarily used to treat high blood pressure. High blood pressure is a condition in which the force of the blood against the artery walls is too high, leading to hypertension. Lodoz 2.5 Tablet 10's aids in lowering blood pressure to normal, thereby helping in reducing the risk of having a stroke, heart attack, other heart problems, or kidney problems in the future.
Lodoz 2.5 Tablet 10's contains Bisoprolol fumarate (beta-blocker) and Hydrochlorothiazide (diuretics or water pills). Bisoprolol fumarate relaxes the blood vessels by blocking the action of certain natural substances in the body. It helps slow down the heart rate, making it easier to pump blood around the body. Hydrochlorothiazide lowers blood pressure by removing extra water/fluid and certain electrolyte overload from the body.

Disease/Condition Glossary
Hypertension: Hypertension is a condition in which the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels leading to hypertension. This condition can lead to hardened arteries (blood vessels) and decreased blood and oxygen flow to the heart. Blood pressure is the measurement of the heart's force to pump blood to all body parts. Raised blood pressure can cause chest pain (angina) and heart attack (when the blood supply to the heart is blocked). High blood pressure also causes brain damage (stroke) and kidney failure.
