About LOCULA 10% DROPS

LOCULA 10% DROPS belongs to the class of medicines called antibiotics used to treat bacterial eye infections. Bacterial conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid.

LOCULA 10% DROPS contains Sulfacetamide which works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow and multiply. Thereby, LOCULA 10% DROPS stops the growth of bacteria causing an eye infection.
