Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's

Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's is indicated for the production of regional or local anaesthesia during surgery or medical procedures. Additionally, it is indicated in the management of ventricular arrhythmia (abnormal heartbeat) associated with acute myocardial infarction, or cardiac surgery. 

Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's contains ‘Lidocaine’ that blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane that surrounds the nerves, thereby preventing initiation and conduction of impulses; hence providing an anaesthetic effect. Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's blocks cardiac sodium channels, thereby treating arrhythmia.

Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's will be administered by a healthcare professional; do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dizziness, high/low blood pressure, nausea, vomiting, and paresthesia (burning or prickling sensation). You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Do not take Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's if you are allergic to any of its components. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding. Avoid driving or operating machinery as Lignocaine with Adrenaline 2% Injection 1's may cause dizziness, drowsiness, and loss of sensation. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to rule out any interactions/side effects.
