Lifobid Infusion 100 ml

Lifobid Infusion 100 ml belongs to a class of medications called antibiotics used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Lifobid Infusion 100 ml does not work against infections caused by a virus.

Lifobid Infusion 100 ml contains Ofloxacin that works by interfering with bacterial enzyme, DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, Lifobid Infusion 100 ml kills bacteria and clears the infection. 

Lifobid Infusion 100 ml will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Lifobid Infusion 100 ml do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor. 

If you are allergic to Ofloxacin or other antibiotics or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy, please inform your doctor before taking Lifobid Infusion 100 ml. Avoid taking Lifobid Infusion 100 ml and consult a doctor if you are breastfeeding as Lifobid Infusion 100 ml may be excreted in human milk and cause adverse effects in the baby. Lifobid Infusion 100 ml is not recommended for children below 18 years as the safety and effectiveness were not established. Drive only if you are alert as Lifobid Infusion 100 ml may cause drowsiness, dizziness, or changes in vision. Avoid alcohol consumption with Lifobid Infusion 100 ml as it may cause sleepiness or dizziness.

If you have low levels of magnesium or potassium in your blood, inform your doctor before taking Lifobid Infusion 100 ml. If you are about to undergo any blood or urine tests, inform your doctor that you are taking Lifobid Infusion 100 ml as it may interfere with certain tests.
