LACTI SB CAPSULE belongs to the group of medicines called probiotics used to treat and prevent diarrhoea, including rotaviral diarrhoea in children. LACTI SB CAPSULE may also be used for acne, antibiotic-associated diarrhoea, Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, Helicobacter pylori infection, traveller’s diarrhoea, diarrhoea in people with HIV/AIDS, and necrotising enterocolitis (a serious intestinal disease in premature infants).
 
LACTI SB CAPSULE contains ‘Saccharomyces boulardii’, a friendly micro-organism that helps fight disease-causing organisms in the gut, such as yeast and bacteria. Thereby, LACTI SB CAPSULE helps in treating diarrhoea. LACTI SB CAPSULE helps restore the balance of intestinal bacterial flora and strengthens immunity and overall gut health.
 
You are advised to take LACTI SB CAPSULE for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. LACTI SB CAPSULE is generally safe and does not cause any side effects. Sometimes, it may cause gas, bloating, and constipation. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
