In case Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml catches fire and burns quickly. Use of Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml is contraindicated in people with asthma, an autoimmune disorder, heart problems (with prolonged QT wave of heartbeat), inform your doctor before taking Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml. Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers should consult the doctor before starting Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml. Do not give this Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml to a child without medical advice.

Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml is composed of two medicines: Ketoconazole (antifungal) and Coal Tar (keratoplastic). Ketoconazole is an antifungal agent that works by preventing the growth of dandruff-causing fungi by avoiding them from forming their own protective covering. Coal tar belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplastic (thickens the keratin layers). It works by removing dead cells from the skin’s top layer and slowing down skin cells' growth. This effect decreases scaling and dryness, thus relieving itching and cracking related to dandruff. 

Ketoterg-CT Scalp Lotion 100 ml belongs to a class of combination drugs called 'antifungal with keratolytic agents' primarily used to treat dandruff and control seborrheic dermatitis (scaly patches and red skin on the scalp). Dandruff is a flaky, itchy scalp without signs of inflammation.
